About my Friend

Dawn

This page is dedicated to honoring Dawn—not the tragic way her life ended, but the beautiful, vibrant person she was. I was privileged to know her for a short time, but she was so much more than the chapter I shared with her. My hope is to celebrate her full story—her spirit, her laughter, her childhood, and the memories that shaped her.

I would be deeply grateful for any contributions from those who knew and loved her. If her family or friends would like to share photos, stories, or special memories, I would be honored to include them here.

In Loving Memory

Dawn Schneider was born on June 18, 1969, and from the very beginning, she brought light into the lives around her. As a little girl, she adored her older brother Darin and followed his lead with wide-eyed admiration. Growing up in Waupaca, Wisconsin, she filled her days riding bikes through the neighborhood with friends and spending long summer afternoons swimming in the lake she loved.

Dawn had a playful spirit and an easy laugh. She was always ready for fun, quick with a joke, and happiest when the people around her were smiling. Her joy was contagious, and her presence made ordinary moments feel brighter.
